The People
David Dove
Founder & Managing Director.
David, now a registered and practising Psychotherapist, received his original management training and experience with US I.T. related corporations operating within the European market place and developed a truly international style of business through adapting the more aggressive American management model to the European environment.
Following a successful corporate career David formed The Venture Funding Group in 1976 as an independent Management Consultancy specialising in second-tier finance for small to medium enterprise Venture Capital opportunities with international, and, more specifically, transatlantic potential.
The Group's policy was always to include strategic consultancy within transactions to underpin such funding and combined this with high-level Coaching and Counselling input for client management teams in preparation for corporate growth to ensure safer returns for investors.
David’s interest in Coaching developed from his earlier decision to train and practise as a Psychotherapist and to bring those skills back into the corporate world in terms of enhancing the performance of individuals and teams within management at all levels. 3CCCs is the chosen vehicle for this activity and David formed the company in 2001. Avoiding sterile “process”, all coaching interventions are based upon fundamentals of human behaviour and natural drivers for success and personal growth.
3CCCs has developed the now well known Cascade Coaching® programmes and has registered the name as a trademark throughout the European Union. Cascade Coaching® is 3CCCs unique approach to embedding Performance and Developmental Coaching skills within and throughout an organisation. Cascade Coaching® is a flexible model that can be applied at all hierarchical levels from project team to corporate wide. Cascade Coaching® replicates the performance enhancing effects of coaching across an organisation so that they become a key component of an organisation’s culture and an integral part of both its management development and performance improvement practices.
In his spare time David works with the general public in helping to resolve social issues, particularly those involving behavioural change.
Dr. Angus McLeod
3CCCs' Head of Coaching
Dr. McLeod is a leading author on coaching and leadership and has published over forty papers in the international press. Angus designed the two Diploma courses in executive coaching for Newcastle College with over 15,000 students in the first two years or so. Angus also facilitates master-classes in coaching internationally and has guest-appearances at advanced training courses and conferences world-wide. Angus is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Birmingham supervising applied research in Coaching within the Business School.
Angus’ association with 3CCCs since 2002 has endured with mutual regards for learning journeys and the facilitation of sustainable learning in executives. He has embraced the 3CCCs philosophy of creating learning interventions that lead to rapid, sustainable application at work together with measurement of behavioural and performance improvement. This practical aspect is enhanced by his academic standing as an external supervisor of research at the Business School, Birmingham City University.
At 3CCCs, Angus coaches 1-2-1, facilitates training programmes in management development, in coaching skills for executives and front-line managers and in the training of coaches within HR and other talent pools in our customer’s organizations. In training, Angus invariably offers and carries out short coaching sessions for delegates, both 1-2-1 and in the round, outside the formal training arena without any charge to customers, adding value to our service.
